Lancemate Switching from Backpack

GH1_BackpackSwitch

Today’s achievement is that you can now switch between lancemates using the left and right keys from the backpack display. This feature should be applied to the Character Viewer and Shop interfaces as well.

It seems that your lancemates carry quite some healing supplies. Does that mean they can also now reliably heal themselves with those? Can robots perform repairs on themselves with mecha repair supplies?

    1. They seem to do alright. I haven’t had any robots lately, but they should be able to use any repair skills they know.

yes repairs/welding/medicine/fist-aid/conversation/flirting works flawlessly with bots and people mates. bots dont level conv or flirting but that and the fix-up xp mean that they will converge on or outdo your stats by the end. being new at this i was worried about the low low carrying cap, but i found that the speed loss is quite ok and easy to compensate. i give everyone 2 repair/welding/first-aid kits and top it off when they are down to just 1. works fine. just add speed and let them repair all the loot before you sell it.

Yes flirting. It’s fun seeing your bots going around “having a good time” with people. Electric rats have the the flirting skills too but it looks like they don’t do anything with the skill, or don’t they? Just curious.

It could be nice to have a small portrait version on the too left. It will make things way more visual.

    1. That’s a good idea; the only question is where to put it.

Nice, browsed a bit (google-translating to english) there.
Some good ideas and images, my only issue is with female portraits, as they only cover the ones with DD+ cups

    1. I started looking at all the changes last week. A lot of the changes look good, but I think I will need somebody’s help to sort through it all. I am overwhelmed.

The i18n version code seems to be fairly good delimited between original, patches and internationalisation.
You should comb your code to have always hashed strings and things will be easier (you added some raw ones in the last commit.. “jump” “s”)

what type help you need ?
i’m don’t know programs. however i can make list of changes (but may not fully, and may japanese. it too huge to translation)

        1. Something like that. There are a lot of changes, some of which seem to depend on other changes, and before adding anything to the main branch I want to understand them myself. Unfortunately I don’t have much time to work on GearHead these days.

If someone would volunteer to post the individual changes as GitHub pull requests, that would be idea. Second best would be patch files. Explanations of what the changes do and how I can find them in the source would also be good.

            http://jaist.dl.osdn.jp/gearhead1-i18n/64857/history.txt
            this is all changes (japanese)
vice versa, you can’t based on i18n?
it license not change from original.
and if need to pull request, typical is a i18n support, however that is first change of i18n version.
            it is inseparable.

      Hi Nameless,

I was trying to download the community pack on axfc.net and it seems to ask me for a keyword.
Do you happen to know what the keyword is?
